WHO WE ARE

Ronald Hughes, Jr. was born on 25 December 1993 in Birmingham, Alabama.  His Marine Corps career began on 25 September 2012, when he attended Recruit Training aboard Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina.  After graduation, he reported to Camp Geiger in North Carolina for Marine Combat Training.  Once completed, he attended Personnel Administration School at Marine Corps Base Camp Johnson and was assigned the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of 0111, Administrative Specialist.

After completing MOS training, he proceeded to his first duty station in May 2013, and was assigned to Headquarters Support Battalion, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.  While there, he became the Body Composition Program Coordinator (BCP) of the Unit Deployment Branch from August 2014 to September 2015.  During his duty at Camp Lejeune, he assisted and trained military service members that were returning from maternity leave or recovering from surgery.

March of 2019 Ronald Hughes Jr. began his venture into fitness and physical training. Ronald often trained Marines and Sailors but decided to branch out and create NoBodyBetter to promote healthy lifestyles and physical fitness. Along with training, Ronald continued to push his muscular system to new heights by competing in Powerlifting Tournaments. Having won multiple Powerlifting competitions with 100% RAW Powerlifting Federation, Ronald currently holds the Virginia state record for strict curl in two weight classes. In 2017 198lbs weight class, Ronald strict curled 72.5 kgs / 159.8 lbs. In 2018 220lbs weight class, Ronald strict curled 73.0 kgs / 160.9 lbs.

As soon as I asked Ronnie to become my personal trainer to help me out to achieve my goals and set me on the right path, not only was he excited but extremely helpful and reliable.
